What Is Behavioral HealthChoices?
The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's mandatory Medicaid managed care program, called HealthChoices (HC), is the largest Medicaid Assistance (MA) program administered by the Department of Human Services (DHS).
Our agency offers access to behavioral heath services for adults and youths who are recipients (or eligible for benefits) of medical assistance in Lycoming and Clinton Counties.
Our Goals
The Lycoming-Clinton Behavioral HealthChoices program has three goals that guide our implementation efforts:
To improve access to health care services for Medicaid recipients
To improve the quality of care available to Medicaid recipients; and
To be cost effective with Pennsylvania's Medicaid spending
If you have the HealthChoices benefit, you may be eligible to receive behavioral health services. We’ll help you determine your eligibility.
Our Services
Peer Support Services
Lycoming-Clinton Behavioral HealthChoices is committed to increasing the availability of peer support within our counties. These services help prevent relapse and promote sustained recovery from mental and/or substance use disorders.
Children’s Services
We offer the Child & Adolescent Services System Program and Behavioral Health Services for Children and Youths in Lycoming and Clinton County who are Behavioral HealthChoices members (or eligible for Behavioral HealthChoices benefits).
Adult’s Services
Lycoming-Clinton Behavioral HealthChoices offers Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder Services for Adults in Lycoming and Clinton Counties who are HealthChoices members (or eligible for HealthChoices benefits).
